Raiders Acquire Ronin Geraghty from Tri-City
Prince Albert, SK – The Prince Albert Raiders have acquired 2004-born goaltender Ronin Geraghty from the Tri-City Americans in exchange for 2005-born centre Ivan Kedrov.
Geraghty, a Burnaby, BC product, is listed at 6’0 and 190 lbs. He made two appearances for Burnaby Winter Club Prep in the CSSHL’s U18 division in the shortened 2020-21, posting a 2.01 goals-against average and a 0.951 save percentage.
In his last full season in 2019-20, the netminder had a 10-4-1 record with a 3.09 goals-against average and a 0.902 save percentage for West Van Academy Prep in the CSSHL’s U18 division.
Geraghty made his WHL debut on January 24, 2020 with the Americans against the Portland Winterhawks during his 15-year-old season. He was originally listed by the Americans in May 2019.
Kedrov was drafted in the sixth round of the 2020 WHL Prospects Draft. He had a goal and three assists in three games for the CBHA Blackhawks of the Alberta Elite Hockey League’s U16 division.
