Mitts, toques, deodorant, baby formula, diapers and new colouring books are all items on the needs list for this year’s Stuff the Bus event put on by the United Way of Saskatoon and Area. CEO, Sheri Benson says the annual event will look a little bit different this year as it will be a drive-thru event in the Prairieland Park parking lot. Benson says a city bus will be there from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, September 22nd collecting donations. Benson says a number of agencies throughout the city will receive the donations including the Saskatoon Food Bank and Learning Centre, the Friendship Inn and Prairie Harm Reduction. The event will mark the start of United Way’s fall fundraising season. Benson adds there won’t be a barbecue this year as they want to keep everyone safe.
