A sod-turning ceremony was held in Kindersley Wednesday, celebrating the construction of a new day program building.
West Central Abilities will operate the new day program building for people with intellectual disabilities, with supports provided for more than 20 people. The W-C-A has been supporting people with intellectual disabilities since 1972. The Government of Saskatchewan invested $924,000 into the construction of the new building, which replaces an old building currently being used. The new day program building supports the Saskatchewan Disability Strategy by creating opportunities for inclusion.
