The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit has charged a Moose Jaw man in connection to an investigation int o the online accessing of child pornography through a popular online social media application.

A search warrant was executed at a Moose Jaw home in mid-March and several electronic devices were seized at that time. Yesterday (weds), James Swagierczak, age 32 of Moose Jaw, was arrested in connection to the investigation. He has been charged with Possession of Child Pornography and Share/Make Available Child Pornography.

He was released on several conditions until his next court appearance November 8, including not to possess or access devices that connect to the internet and to not have contact with anyone under age 16.
