As of July 1st this year, Saskatchewan’s population was 1,174,462.
The Government of Saskatchewan says the province’s population has now grown in 53 consecutive quarters increasing by more than 183,000 people during that time.
There was a net increase of 4,510 people from international migration in the second quarter and a natural increase, which is births minus deaths, of 1,644 people. However, 2,719 people moved elsewhere in Canada.
