Just before 8:30 Saturday night, emergency crews responded to a collision between a vehicle and a bicycle at the intersection of Rusholme Road and Avenue P North. Police say the 39 year-old man riding the bike eastbound on Rusholme Road blew a stop sign and was struck by a northbound travelling SUV. A 33 year-old woman riding in a trailer behind the bike was also struck. Both were taken to hospital with head injuries, although their injuries are non-life threatening. The 32 year-old woman driving the SUV was taken to hospital as a precaution.
