SGI has received a national award for its ongoing efforts to end impaired driving.
The Crown Corporation is receiving MADD Canada’s annual Citizen of Distinction Award.
Spokesperson with MADD Canada, Tracy Crawford, says they are grateful of SGI’s ongoing support of the organization’s initiatives and the support provided to MADD volunteers.
The award acknowledges SGI’s contributions to raising awareness about the dangers of impaired driving.
Along with MADD initiatives, SGI regularly runs anti-impaired driving ad campaigns, works with law enforcement on traffic safety initiatives and provides funding for traffic enforcement.
