The hit Broadway show, Waitress is looking to include some local talent into their production when they visit Saskatoon this December.
The Tony nominated musical will take to the stage December 2nd and 3rd at TCU Place and is looking to fill the role for Lulu, a sweet and carefree 4 to 5 year-old who appears in the production’s finale scene.
New York based director, Susanna Wolk who is the touring director for Waitress says for most of their stops on tour, they’re hosting auditions for the role of Lulu.
Auditions for the Saskatoon show will be tomorrow (tues) at 10 a.m. The audition will consist of the child repeating two lines from the show. The character “Lulu” will be casted by two local girls.
The show is looking for girls who are shorter than 4 foot 2 and are no older than 5 years and 3 months.
Parents are encouraged to bring a current headshot and resume for each child.
