A nineteen year-old Regina man is facing a number of charges including Assault with a Weapon following an incident Sunday afternoon. Around 4 o’clock, officers were called to a home in the 1300 block of Rae Street for a report of weapons offence involving a knife. A man was allegedly threatening a senior citizen with a knife inside the home. The accused fled the scene and was found in the 1100 block of Retallack Street. He was arrested and a knife was found.

19 year-old Desmond Key of Regina as been charged with Assault with a Weapon, Possession of a Weapon and Carrying a Concealed Weapon.

Key made his first court appearance Monday morning.
