The suspicious package reported to the Saskatoon Police Service turned out to be a toolbox. The Explosive Disposal Unit, along with Patrol officers responded to a complaint of a suspicious package in a building in the 200 block of 21st Street east just before noon Tuesday.

Portions of the block were closed down and the public was advised to avoid the area, during the investigation, but restrictions were lifted just before 4 in the afternoon. The Police Service thanks the public for their patience and understanding while the investigation was ongoing.
