A made-in-Saskatchewan activity book will help young students learn about fire safety. The Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency and the Saskatchewan Association of Fire Chiefs collaborated to create the Fire Safety Activity book for Kindergarten to Grade 5 students.
Policing and Public Safety Minister Christine Tell says this is the first educational resource of its kind to be developed and distributed entirely in Saskatchewan for many years. It is being handed out to Kindergarten through to Grade 5 students. The characters in the book hunt for safety tips.
This is Fire Prevention Week in Canada, originally proclaimed in 1919.
