A 28 year old woman has been charged in connection to the Prince Albert Police Service investigation of the death of 40 year old Doris Broussie. Police says she was the victim of an assault on Second Avenue West early in the morning on August 5th, and later died at Royal University Hospital. Twenty-eight year old Francine Ballantyne is charged with second degree murder. She appeared in Prince Albert court last week, and is next scheduled in court on October 22nd.
