The Saskatoon Food Bank and Learning Centre says Canpotex’s Matching Donation of 50-thousand dollars will allow them to maintain the Milk for Children program.

In September Canpotex pledged to match every dollar raised for the program up to 50 thousand dollars as part of the Hunger Action Month challenge.

Thanks to participation from the community, Canpotex matched the 50-thousand dollars and in total almost 106 thousand dollars was raised which the Food Bank Executive Director, Laurie O’Connor, says represents 73-thousand 5 hundred 86 litres of milk in the community.
