The Saskatoon Police Service’s Drug Unit has busted a cocaine trafficking ring with the recent arrest of five men at three separate apprehension points.
Four of the men were arrested at two different traffic stops where police located four cell phones, 4.7 grams of cocaine and about $2,000 in cash.
The fifth man, age 32, was apprehended at a residence in the 100 block of Wakaw Crescent with a subsequent search of the house finding about $13,000 in cash, 1,791.3 grams of cocaine, 7.3 grams of psilocybin, four pounds of cannabis and drug paraphernalia (pictured).
The other four are aged 24 from Edmonton, 26 from Winnipeg as well as 22 and 28 years old from Saskatoon. All four men face multiple charges with further charges pending as the investigation continues.
