The Saskatoon Blades will be without the services of Jayden Wiens (pictured) for home games Wednesday against Brandon and Friday against Medicine Hat.

The 18-year-old centre was suspended for the two games by the W-H-L for incurring a major penalty and game misconduct for goaltender interference after upending the Wheat Kings’ Ethan Kruger in the second period of Saturday’s 6-2 Bridge City Bunch victory. A Carrot River product, Wiens is eligible to return to the Blue and Gold line-up Saturday in Moose Jaw.
