The federal election is inching closer and Elections Canada is getting voter information cards to you. Spokesperson Marie-France Kenny says voter information cards should be in your hands by Friday with those cards having all the information you should need when you cast your ballot. Kenny says if you haven’t gotten a card by Friday, you should be asking some questions as to why… You can go to elections.ca and click on registration just to see if you are registered. Those who are now of legal voting age who weren’t the last time, those who have changed their name or gender or those who have moved are asked to go online or register with your nearest Elections Canada office. If a card comes to your house that doesn’t belong to you or the person the card is addressed to has passed away, you should also contact Elections Canada with that information.
