A 19 year old Regina man already charged in the alleged robbery of a cab driver and the theft of his vehicle is facing additional break and enter and assault charges. The Regina Police Service says a series of similar events on October 8th led to the same individual already accused in the taxi robbery.
It was reported to investigators that in one event, there was a break and enter to a home where it’s alleged a female was assaulted.
A few minutes later, there was another break and enter. A suspect entered a garage, but left after encountering a resident. Then less than a half hour later, a male was sitting in his parked vehicle when another male opened the door, grabbing the occupant to pull him out, but when that failed, he fled.
Desmond Key is charged with break and enter and assault, break and enter with intent, and assault.
