The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says Gordon Food Service is recalling various Gordon Choice brand diced frozen chicken products due to possible Listeria contamination. The company says the products have been sold in Saskatchewan, Alberta, BC, Nunavut, the Northwest Territories and Yukon. Consumers are advised to not eat the food, and retailers as well as food service establishments, like hotels, restaurants, cafeterias, hospitals and nursing homes should not sell or use the recalled products. Symptoms of Listeria include vomiting, nausea, persistent fever, muscle aches, severe headache and neck stiffness.
