An early Thursday morning shooting left one man dead and North Battleford R-C-M-P, along with Saskatchewan R-C-M-P’s Major Crime Unit South issuing a warrant for the rest of another man.
At about 1:45 a.m. on October 21, R-C-M-P were called to the 1200 block of 108th Street in North Battleford where they found 33-year-old Boyd Firingstoney deceased. Upon investigation, R-C-M-P issued a warrant for the arrest of 21-year-old Javon Moosomin (pictured).
He is charged with second degree murder, possession of firearm contrary to prohibition order and five counts of pointing a firearm.
Javon Moosomin is considered armed and dangerous, described as being 5-feet-11 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
The public is advised not to approach him if they see him, rather to call 911 immediately. Information as to his whereabouts can be submitted to your local police service or Crime Stoppers.
