The Regina Police investigation of an unresponsive man has become a homicide investigation, the eleventh of the year.

Around 9:30 Wednesday night, officers were dispatched to a home in the 900 block of King Street about an unresponsive male.

Officers performed CPR until EMS arrived, but 43 year old Mitchell Lorne Oliver couldn’t be revived. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Regina Police Service and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service are investigating.
