There are 173 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported in Saskatchewan Saturday. Regina is reporting the most new cases at 44 with Saskatoon at 28 and the Central East zone at 23 rounding out the top three.
Three more Saskatchewan residents have died who tested positive for COVID-19 bringing the death toll since the beginning of the pandemic to 866. There are 1,745 cases considered active and more than half of new cases eligible for vaccination were fully vaccinated.
As of Saturday, a total of 199 individuals are hospitalized including 148 inpatient hospitalizations and 51 individuals in an ICU.
There are 21 Saskatchewan residents receiving care out of province and that number is not included in the hospitalization counts for Saskatchewan. Since Friday, one person has been returned to Saskatchewan.

- Twelve (12) cases with pending residence information were assigned to the Far North West (from November 4 (1)), North West (from September 21 (2), October 11 (2), October 14 (1), November 4 (2)), North Central (from November 3 (1), November 4 (2)), and Regina (from October 15 (2)) zones
- Two (2) SK residents tested out-of-province were added to the cases counts in the Central East (from November 3 (1)), and South Central (from November 4 (1)) zones
- Eleven (11) cases have been deemed to be non SK residents and removed from the Regina (from September 13 (1)), and ten (10) have pending locations (from August 27 (1), September 2 (1), September 4 (1), September 5 (1), September 6 (1), September 9 (2), September 17 (1), September 18 (1), September 21 (1)) case counts

- 580 cases have pending residence information
- 1,745 cases are considered active and 75,956 cases are considered recovered
- More than one-quarter (29.5%) of new cases are in the age category of 11 or under
- More than one-half (52.5%) of new cases eligible for vaccination (aged 12 years and older) were fully vaccinated
- As of November 6th, a total of 199 individuals are hospitalized, including 148 inpatient hospitalizations and 51 ICU hospitalizations. Of the 199 patients, 138 (69.3%) were not fully vaccinated.
- In addition to SK ICUs, there are 21 residents in out-of-province ICUs. As these patients are receiving care out of province, this number is not included in the hospitalization counts in dashboard. Since yesterday’s report, there has been one repatriation.
- As of November 4, 2021 one (1) death presumably not related to COVID-19 was removed from total death counts
- Three (3) new deaths reported today. 866 Saskatchewan residents with COVID-19 have died, with a case fatality rate of 1.1%.
- 1,238,491 COVID-19 tests have been performed in the province. As of November 4, 2021, when other provincial and national numbers are available from PHAC, Saskatchewan’s per capita rate was 1,044,786 tests performed per million population. The national rate was 1,228,241 tests performed per million population.
- The 7-day average of new COVID-19 case numbers was 154 (12.8 new cases per 100,000)
