Meadow Lake RCMP say several individuals have been safely taken into custody. This after alerting the public early Monday afternoon about increased police presence near 7th Avenue West, and telling residents to avoid the area. Nearby schools were put into hold-and-secure mode as a precaution. Police say the incident has concluded and an update will be provided on Tuesday.
