There were four new COVID-19-related deaths while one Saskatchewan resident was returned to the province from being in an Ontario I-C-U with a positive novel coronavirus case, according to Wednesday’s dashboard update on the Government of Saskatchewan website.
That leaves 14 provincial residents in Ontario hospital I-C-U’s while Saskatchewan’s COVID-19 death total is up to 878. Otherwise, there were 121 new cases of the virus in the latest update with 166 recoveries, leaving 1,374 active cases. From that number, there are 187 individuals in the province’s hospitals, including 52 infections being treated in an I-C-U. There were 1,749 COVID-19 tests performed on Tuesday along with 2,532 doses of vaccine administered. Of those vaccine shots, 1,668 people became fully vaccinated.

- As of November 10th, there are 121 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the total to 79,030 reported cases
- The new cases are located in the Far North West (7), Far North East (2), North West (15), North Central (11), Saskatoon (30), Central West (1), Central East (9), Regina (8), South West (6), South Central (4) and South East (18) zones and ten (10) new cases have pending residence information
- Fourteen (14) cases with pending residence information were assigned to the Far North East (from August 24 (1)), North West (from September 23 (2)), North Central (from December 26, 2020 (1), November 2 (1), November 8 (3)), and Central East (from September 28 (1), November 8 (5)) zones
- One (1) case was removed (reason not specified) from North Central (from November 4 (1)) zone

- 19,313 cases are from the North area (8,582 North West, 7,928 North Central, 2,803 North East)
- 18,997 cases are from the Saskatoon area
- 15,514 cases are from the Regina area
- 9,688 cases are from the South area (2,126 South West, 2,879 South Central, 4,683 South East)
- 9,220 cases are from the Far North area (4,323 Far North West, 541 Far North Central, 4,356 Far North East)
- 5,726 cases are from the Central area (1,403 Central West, 4,323 Central East)
- 572 cases have pending residence information
- 1,374 cases are considered active and 76,778 cases are considered recovered
- Almost two-fifths (38.8%) of new cases are in the age category of 11 years or under
- About two-fifths (41.9%) of new cases eligible for vaccination (aged 12 years and older) were fully vaccinated
- As of November 10th, a total of 187 are hospitalized, including 135 inpatient hospitalizations and 52 ICU hospitalizations. Of the 187 patients, 118 (63.1%) were not fully vaccinated.
- In addition to SK ICU counts, there are 14 residents in out of province ICUs. As these patients are receiving care out of province, this number is not included in the hospitalization counts in the dashboard. Since yesterday’s report, there has been one repatriation.
- Four (4) new deaths were reported today. 878 Saskatchewan residents with COVID-19 have died, with a case fatality rate of 1.1%.
- 1,245,057 COVID-19 tests have been performed in the province. As of November 8, 2021, when other provincial and national numbers are available from PHAC, Saskatchewan’s per capita rate was 1,050,107 tests performed per million. The national rate was 1,236,220 tests performed per million.
- The 7-day average of new COVID-19 case numbers was 138 (11.5 new cases per 100,000)
