From now on, the Saskatoon Blades will “Streek” without Carter.
The Bridge City Bunch 17-year-old forward Carter Streek to the Spokane Chiefs Thursday for a seventh round pick in the 2022 W-H-L Prospects Draft. Originally a fourth round selection by Portland in 2019, the Kamloops product was acquired by the Blue and Gold from the Winterhawks in April of 2020. Streek played in 15 of the 24 Blades’ games during the Regina Hub, but only suited up for six of the first 15 Saskatoon contests this season. SASKATOON, SK — The Saskatoon Blades have traded 2004-born forward Carter Streek to
the Spokane Chiefs in exchange for a 7th round selection in the 2022 WHL Prospects Draft.
Streek, a 2004-born winger, was acquired by the Blades via trade with the Portland Winterhawks
in April of 2020. The Kamloops, BC product has skated in 21 career games, all of which with
Saskatoon, including six contests this season.
The Saskatoon Blades would like to thank Carter for his commitment and work ethic, and wish
him well with the Chiefs in Spokane.
