There are 122 new cases of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan Friday. The Central East zone accounts for 27 of the new infections followed by Regina with 25 and Saskatoon with 21. 180 people are in hospital with the virus. 47 of those are in Saskatchewan ICUs while another 13 are receiving care in Ontario ICUs. Five new deaths were also included in the daily update. The seven-day average is now at 134. 1,443 cases are considered active in Saskatchewan.

As of November 12th, there are 122 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the total to 79,334 reported cases
The new cases are located in the Far North West (1), North West (8), North Central (11), Saskatoon (21), Central East (27), Regina (25), South West (5), South Central (4) and South East (13) zones and seven (7) new cases have pending residence information
Nine (9) cases with pending residence information were assigned to the Far North West (from November 10 (1)), North West (from September 24 (1), October 7 (1), November 10 (1)), North Central (from November 10 (1)), Central East (from November 8 (1)), Regina (from November 9 (1), November 10 (1)), and South East (from November 8 (1)) zones

19,369 cases are from the North area (8,613 North West, 7,953 North Central, 2,803 North East)
19,044 cases are from the Saskatoon area
15,578 cases are from the Regina area
9,760 cases are from the South area (2,136 South West, 2,889 South Central, 4,735 South East)
9,230 cases are from the Far North area (4,328 Far North West, 541 Far North Central, 4,361 Far North East)
5,786 cases are from the Central area (1,408 Central West, 4,378 Central East)
567 cases have pending residence information
1,443 cases are considered active and 77,000 cases are considered recovered
Over one-third (36.9%) of new cases are in the age category of 20 to 39 years of age
Over one-quarter (29.5%) of new cases eligible for vaccination (aged 12 years and older) were fully vaccinated
As of November 12th, a total of 180 individuals are hospitalized, including 133 inpatient hospitalizations and 47 ICU hospitalizations. Of the 180 patients, 113 (62.8%) were not fully vaccinated.
In addition to SK ICUs, there are 13 residents in out-of-province ICUs. As these patients are receiving care out of province, this number is not included in the hospitalization counts in the dashboard.
Five (5) new deaths reported today. 891 Saskatchewan residents with COVID-19 have died with a case fatality rate of 1.1%
1,249,024 COVID-19 tests have been performed in the province. As of November 9, 2021, when other provincial and national numbers are available from PHAC, Saskatchewan’s per capita rate was 1,051,590 tests performed per million. The national rate of 1,238,152 tests performed per million.
The 7-day average of new COVID-19 case numbers was 134. (11.2 new cases per 100,000)
