A 28-year-old man faces charges of dangerous driving, evade police and breach of court orders, as well as outstanding warrants, following an early Sunday morning traffic stop.
At about 12:50 a.m. on November 14, Saskatoon Police Service officers tried to execute a traffic stop on a 2015 Honda C-R-V at the intersection of 21st Street and Avenue R South.
However, the vehicle accelerated to high speeds fleeing the area. It was located abandoned a short time later after colliding with a power pole at 31st Street West and Avenue L North. The 28-year-old man was arrested a short distance away.
