Two men involved in an October 18 armed robbery in Regina, were located and arrested this past Friday.

Thirty-one-year-old Guy Kendrick Lenny Favel and Maynard Dwayne Assiniboine, both of Regina, are jointly facing six charges following the October 18, evening robbery on the 3800 block of Rochdale Boulevard.

At the time, Regina Police were told of two males armed with firearms entered a retail location at that address and threatened staff. The two suspects stole cash and merchandise before leaving in a vehicle. However, a loaded firearm was recovered at the scene.

Later that evening, the getaway vehicle, with some of the stolen merchandise, was found abandoned on the 5500 block of Blake Crescent. Favel and Assiniboine were arrested on November 12 while a firearm matching the description of the one used in the robbery was recovered. Both men made their first appearance in court on Monday.
