John Paddock is back behind the bench of the W-H-L’s Regina Pats, in addition to being the team’s vice-president of hockey operations and general manager.
Paddock replaces Dave Struch who was relieved of the head coaching duties in Regina Thursday morning, a month-and-a-half into his fourth season in the post. The former Saskatoon Blades’ star forward and bench boss joined the Pats in the summer of 2014 after Paddock was hired as G-M and head coach. Regina, who has a 6-10-0 record, tied for ninth place in the Eastern Conference, are in Moose Jaw Saturday.
