The Prince Albert budget committee concluded four days of budget deliberations on Saturday. They made a decision to schedule a further meeting to discuss further options on ways to reduce spending. Mayor Greg Dionne says decisions were made to trim spending in many areas and that the review process has shown that there are a lot of important projects in the budget that add value to Prince Albert residents, although Dionne adds the City understands the importance of keeping property taxes low. Dionne says there’s still work to be done and options to be considered before they release a final budget.
