The Canadian Senior Women’s and Men’s Curling Championships continue today and run through Saturday in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. There are 14 teams in each gender division, now split into two pools. One is the eight team championship pool and the other is the six-team seeding pool. Only championship pool teams are eligible to win the title. Playoffs will be held once round-robin play is completed. Saskatchewan is represented by the Sherry Anderson and Darrell McKee foursomes, both from the Nutana Curling Club in Saskatoon. The Anderson team finished preliminary play with 4 wins, 2 losses…tied for 2nd place in the women’s Pool A while the McKee quartet ended up with 5 wins, 1 loss…tied for 1st place in the men’s Pool A.
