A 47 year old man who police had been asking for the public’s help to locate is now in custody. Kenneth Dauphinais was arrested after turning himself in on Tuesday to the Saskatoon Police Service. He has been charged with sexual assault and overcoming resistance to commission of an offence. That means trying to forcibly stop someone from resisting you.

Saskatoon Police alerted the public on Monday, saying a warrant was issued for Dauphinais in connection to an historical sexual assault which allegedly occurred between 2007 and 2008. The news release stated he may also be active on online dating websites. He lived most recently in Milk River, Alberta, but has ties to Saskatoon, Calgary and Winnipeg.
