Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools have over 18 thousand students in the city. It’s an increase of 608 students since last fall. When you add in students from schools in Humboldt, Biggar, Martensville, and Warman, the total population climbs to 19,755 for a total increase of 730 students in a year. The biggest increase in Saskatoon is 375 students in Pre-K to grade eight.
The school division has seen an increase in French Immersion of 135 students to a total of over three thousand. The Cree program has grown by 43 students to 496. And the Ukrainian program has decreased by 11 students to 180.
Over the past two years, Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools has experienced an overall enrollment increase of about nine percent.
