Ontario reported, again, a record number of new COVID-19 infections Saturday. It was the first time more than 10-thousand cases were reported in a single day.
Meanwhile, Quebec is implementing new restrictions on private gatherings Sunday. Private gatherings are limited to six people or two family bubbles. Quebec reported more than 10-thousand cases of COVID-19 on Friday and more than 9,200 Saturday.
Saskatchewan will resume reporting COVID-19 case numbers on Tuesday which is when the website will include a total accumulated number of positive cases over the four-day period as well as a breakdown of cases by day.
Tabulations from Flight-tracking website FlightAware shows nearly one-thousand flights entering, leaving or inside the U-S were scratched on Christmas Day, up from 690 cancelled flights Friday. And more than 720 flights have already been cancelled today.
Some Canadians are also experiencing cancelled flights in Canada. Lufthansa cites flight crews calling in sick as one of the hurdles its facing as flights are cancelled.
