A suspect wanted in an attempted car jacking has been charged and now arrested by Prince Albert Police.

December 14th at 9:20 p.m. RCMP were notified that a man had approached a car on the Sturgeon Lake First Nation armed with what appeared to be a gun. The occupants of the car fled and were not injured and the would-be-thief was unsuccessful when he, along with two others, tried to steal the vehicle.

Joshua Naytowhow of the Sturgeon Lake First Nation has been charged with one count of robbery with a firearm, use of an imitation firearm when committing an offence and two counts of failing to comply with a probation order.

Naytowhow was arrested on Monday in the City of Prince Albert and will be in court today (tues).
