The Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes Unit is investigating a suspicious death after the Prince Albert detachment received a report of an injured male on the Muskoday First Nation on Christmas day.

He was pronounced deceased at the scene and the death is considered suspicious in nature. RCMP say the victim is Sidney Bear from the First Nation.

The investigation has led to the arrest of David Duong, age 34 years, of the Muskoday First Nation. He has been charged with one count of manslaughter.

Duong is in court January 29th.
