The Saskatchewan Health Authority has expanded vaccine availability in the north. COVID-19 immunization clinics are available throughout the holdiays for both walk-in and booked appointments. Walk-in clinics are available in northern Saskatchewan on select dates through Northern Saskatchewan in Battlefords, Ile a la Crosse, La Ronge, Lloydminster, Meadow Lake, Prince Albert and Sandy Bay.

The SHA says breakthrough data from the month of November shows ICU admissions are about four times higher among unvaccinated people compared to those who are fully vaccinated.
