If you live in Central Saskatchewan, including Saskatoon, Prince Albert, North Battleford and Yorkton, you may need to shovel some snow in the next day or so.

Environment Canada meteorologist, Dan Fulton, says snow and blowing snow is in the forecast, with most of the snow and wind Monday evening and overnight. Total accumulations are expected to be over 10 centimetres and up to 15 centimetres once all is said on done.

He urges anyone with travel plans to check the forecast and the Highway Hotline, and make sure to have an emergency kit in your vehicle.

Although Sunday was warmer, Fulton doesn’t expect there will be another day like that this week and suggests we will have to hang our hat on possible warmer temperatures next week.
