The province has announced that fourth doses of COVID-19 vaccine are now available to those who are moderately to severely immunocompromised and have received three doses, with at least three months having passed since their third jab. Those who have received a letter of eligibility from the Ministry of Health include people receiving chemo and immuno-suppressive therapies, those with HIV or those who have had organ transplants. Those groups that are now eligible are listed on the province’s website.
The Ministry of Health reminds residents after receiving a booster shot to update their QR code. Residents can access their MySaskHealthRecord account and generate a new QR code after receiving any COVID-19 vaccine to ensure their record is up to date.
