We already know that there will be no Eastern Conference games this weekend in the W-H-L with word that the Friday-Saturday home-and-home series between the Prince Albert Raiders and Swift Current has been postponed.
Among the Eastern Conference games scrubbed this weekend is the home-and-home series between the Saskatoon Blades and Regina.
The Western Hockey League announced this morning (frid) the postponement of seven WHL Regular Season games as a result of travel delays due to weather in the Pacific Northwest or multiple players and staff being added to the WHL COVID-19 Protocol List due to exhibiting symptoms or having tested positive for COVID-19.
Weather related postponements include Everett at Spokane and Seattle at Tri-City today. Also Portland and Kamloops as well as Vancouver at Kelowna – those games have been scrubbed for today.
There are two more games cancelled on Saturday and one on Sunday so the only two going ahead include Portland at Kelowna tomorrow and Portland at Vancouver on Sunday.
