The Saskatoon Blades are as healthy as they’ve been in quite a while as they get set to open a weekend, home-and-home, W-H-L series in Swift Current Friday night.

According to the league’s “Weekly Report,” the Bridge City Bunch have two players in COVID-19 protocol…forward Vaughn Watterodt and defenceman Ryan Nolan…while centre Jayden Wiens will miss both games due to a league-imposed two-game suspension. Friday’s journey to Speedy Creek will be the Blue and Gold’s first game since New Year’s Day and, obviously, the group is happy to get back to playing according to head coach Brennan Sonne…..
