In a social media post, the St. Brieux Fire Department says it attended an accident involving two trains south of Pathlow on October 12th.

The post also indicates Melfort Fire and Melfort Ambulance responded to the scene.

Three people, reportedly members of the CN crew, were transported to hospital with injuries after the trains collided.

Pathlow is 26 kilometres southwest of Melfort.

The Transportation Safety Board website does not indicate an active investigation into the matter, as of Tuesday morning.
