RCMP responded to a serious two-vehicle crash on highway 15 near Rosetown on Sunday afternoon.

RCMP say the crash happened approximately five and a half kilometres west of Sovereign and officers were on scene with a detour in place into last night but this morning the highway hotline is no longer reporting the road is closed and no other updates have been provided by RCMP.

Meanwhile the status of “impassable” was also in place on Highway 1 to the Junction of Highway 19 south after a motor vehicle accident near Chaplin last night. That accident indicated road closed and debris on the roadway but the Highway Hotline says the area is now open.
