Early Sunday evening, Big River RCMP responded to a report of an injured man on Highway 793 on Big River First Nation. He was pronounced dead at the scene and his family has been notified. Preliminary investigation indicates the man was hit by a vehicle. Anyone with information who hasn’t already spoken to police should call the RCMP, or report it annonymously to Crime Stoppers.
