There are three people facing charges after a firearm was allegedly found inside a vehicle during a traffic stop on Sunday night.

A truck was pulled over around 11:15 p.m. in the area of 23rd Street West and Avenue H North.

The Saskatoon Police Service says the driver tried to give officers a fraudulent drivers license and further investigation led to a sawed off fun, four types of ammunition, three knives, a large quantity of cannabis and 15 grams of psilocybin.

Two men men ages 29 and 26, along with a 28-year-old woman, are facing numerous weapons- and drug-related charges. The driver, the 26-year-old man, faces additional charges of Obstruction and Possession of Fraudulent Identity Documents.
