A La Loche man has been charged with child pornography offences in connection to a Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit investigation. Officers were investigating child porn being made available on a popular social media application.

On January 13th, members of the ICE Unit executed a search warrant at a home in La Loche which police believe was the location where the offences were occurring. Electronic devices were seized and the investigation is ongoing.

Nineteen year old Deondre Piche is charges with possession of child porn and making it available. He was released from the La Loche Provincial Court on numerous conditions.
