The detailed design of Prince Albert’s new Aquatic and Arenas Recreation Centre is now 75 per cent complete. City Council will consider a report on Monday to authorize the project team to proceed with pre-qualifications of general contractors for the new centre.
Mayor Greg Dionne says they should be able to break ground this spring. He notes the latest renderings show the layout which he believes has given life to the main features that have been in the planning for the last several months. The first phase includes an indoor aquatics centre and two arenas.
