As of 6 a.m. Saturday morning, all highways out of Biggar and Rosetown as well as highways south and west of Wilkie and Meadow Lake are travel not recommended.

Meanwhile, the City of Saskatoon recommends motorists use caution on streets and sidewalks this weekend as snow, fluctuating temperatures and the possibility of rain are in the forecast.

Up to five centimetres of snow is expected to accumulate over the weekend, this could force the City to contract extra workers to clear priority streets in the case a snow event is declared.
