An R-C-M-P investigation continues into a fatal minivan-semi collision from Sunday, south of North Battleford.

Shortly after 1 p.m. on January 30, an eastbound semi and a west bound minivan collided head-on just west of the intersection between Battleford Road and Highway 16 with the driver and lone occupant of the minivan, a man in his 60s, pronounced dead at the scene. Alcohol is not believed to have been a factor in the collision. The driver and lone occupant of the semi was not injured. Traffic was re-routed for several hours on Sunday afternoon while R-C-M-P completed scene examination, but returned to normal by Sunday evening.
