Road closures are moving from west to east in Saskatchewan but the highway hotline map remains a sea of red this morning and most of the rest of southern and central Saskatchewan has, at best, ‘winter conditions exist’ or ‘travel not recommended’.

Highways west of Saskatoon are winter conditions or travel not recommended while highways east of Saskatoon are for the most part, closed – all the way to the Manitoba border.

Highways out of most larger Saskatchewan centres are closed or travel not recommended  including Swift Current, Moose Jaw, Regina, Weyburn south to the U-S border and north of Yorkton.

The blizzard warnings remain in place in southern Saskatchewan including  Estevan, Weyburn, Carlyle, Oxbow, Carnduff and Bienfait as well as Moosomin, Grenfell, Wawota areas.

Warnings and advisories have been lifted in the rest of Saskatchewan.
