Saskatoon Police are investigating an incident from Tuesday, October 9th, where it’s alleged a man tried to physically take a 14 year old girl from a backyard.

It was reported to have happened around 2 a.m. in the backyard of a home in the 700 block of Avenue M South. Officers were told the girl was approached by a stranger who tried to forcibly remove her from the yard and pull her down the back lane. She was able to get away from him and wasn’t physically harmed.

Police have conducted interviews from residents in the area and are now asking for any information the public may have. The man is described as Caucasian, about 6 feet tall, approximately 30 years old with blonde hair and a chubby build. He may have a piercing on the side of his nose with a red stud and a tattoo on his left lower leg. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police or Crime Stoppers.
